Awaroa Bay, Abel Tasman
Tranquil Awaroa Bay is on the coastal track that fringes the Abel Tasman National Park. In 1855, it was a thriving settlement with boat-builders and a sawmill. Today Awaroa Bay contains a number of holiday ‘baches’, or cottages.
