Anything's possible in Nelson's spectacular Montana New Zealand Wearable Arts Awards which takes art off the wall to adorn the body in wildly wonderful ways. Visitors flock to the city for the event, held in September. The event gained the Supreme Award in the 1999 New Zealand Tourism Awards.
