Sunset, Lake Taupo
Lake Taupo is 36 kilometres long, 27 kilometres wide and more than 160 metres deep. It’s a spectacular inland cruising ground, and many bays and beaches are only accessible by water. From Taupo township you can arrange a bareboat charter or join an organised cruise. You can even sail mini America’s Cup boats!
