The Otago Peninsula is home to the giant Royal Albatross
Taiaroa Head on the Otago Peninsula is the only place in the world where Albatross breed on the mainland. The majestic Northern Royal Albatross has a wing span of over three metres (ten feet) and is a spectacular sight to see in flight.
