Swimming Between the Flags
Since the first Surf Life Saving Club was established in Christchurch in 1910, volunteer surf life savers have donated millions of hours to patrol the New Zealand’s most popular swimming beaches. When you swim ‘between the flags’, you are under the constantly vigilant eye of a trained life saver.
