Cafe Scene
The inner-city suburb of Ponsonby is home to Auckland’s largest collection of restaurants and cafes. Most of them can be found on Ponsonby Road, in between designer clothing and homeware stores. Many of Ponsonby’s eateries specialise in ‘Pacific Rim’ cuisine, which draws on Asian, Polynesian and European culinary traditions.
