Wines produced by Neudorf Vineyards are known for their complex flavours. Neudorf Vineyards, near Nelson, has an international reputation for exceptional Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Sauvignon Blanc and Riesling. The winery is named after the tiny hamlet of Neudorf, which was established by German settlers in 1842. The little village has many fine old oak trees, and it’s possible they were planted by the original settlers to supply wood for wine barrels. Photo credit: Ian Trafford
