Windsurfer at sunset
Many of New Zealand’s harbours are beautifully suited to the solitary pleasure of windsurfing, while east coast surf beaches provide excellent conditions for wave sailers. Try long-boarding around the Bay of Islands, short board wave jumping at Auckland’s Takapuna Beach or a flat-water blast across one of the sand lakes at Kai Iwi.
