Mount Roy, Wanaka
More than a thousand metres high, Mount Roy is just a few minutes’ drive from Wanaka township. A zigzag track leads up through the golden tussock to the summit of the mountain, where you’ll be met by massive views of Lake Wanaka and the shimmering peak of Mount Aspiring (3033 metres).
