Hooked on trout fishing
The Karamea River in the Kahurangi National Park promises wilderness fishing at its very best. Big brown trout lurk in the deeper pools, waiting to feast on drifting insect larvae. It can be a challenge to place a nymph in the right place, but the exhilaration of a strike makes the hard work worthwhile.
