Central Otago Rail Trail
This 150 kilometre hiking and biking trail in Central Otago follows an old railway route. In every way, it’s cycle heaven - breathtaking scenery, unlimited quantities of fresh air and no vehicles allowed. Quaint historic towns are dotted along the way, so you’ll have plenty of excuses to take a break.
