Kai Iwi Lakes, Northland
Located north of Dargaville, each of the three Kai Iwi Lakes is fringed with pure white sand. There are shallow areas that are ideal for swimming or you can fish for rainbow trout, paddle a kayak or explore several hiking tracks around the lakes. Pine forest gives the air a delightful tang around the two popular camping areas.
