Maui and his four bothers capture the Sun (Tama-nui-te-ra) as it journeys across the sky. This carving sits atop of the meeting house Te Hono ki Hawaiki (the link with the ancestral homeland) at Te Papa, New Zealand's national museum, in Wellington.
