St Paul's Cathedral, Dunedin

A splendid example of Gothic Revival architecture, the Cathedral of St Paul's in the Octagon was built between 1915 and 1919. It is believed to have the only stone-vaulted nave in New Zealand. The marble for the thirty eight steps leading to the main entrance was cut from the Takaka Hills near Nelson.
