Old Government Buildings, Wellington
On Lambton Quay, opposite Parliament Buildings, stands the largest wooden building in the southern hemisphere. With imposing facades, sweeping staircases, cast iron fireplaces and kauri clad interiors, the Government Buildings is an important part of New Zealand's architectural heritage.
