Waiohine Gorge, Wairarapa
The swing bridge that spans the Waiohine Gorge marks one of the entrances to Tararua Forest Park. From here you can hike the tracks to Totara Flats and Cone Hut. The Waiohine River is popular for rafting, tubing and kayaking; it also has some good swimming holes.
