Kea, Fox Glacier
The kea is a native alpine parrot with a talent for stand-up comedy. In skifield carparks kea can often be found dismantling windscreen wipers and wing mirrors. When caught, they fly away revealing saucy red under feathers. In zoo situations kea have learned to turn on a show for public attention.
