Glenorchy
The rustic town of Glenorchy, at the western end of Lake Wakatipu, is set against a background of native beech forest and towering snow-capped mountains. Just 45 minutes from Queenstown, the lakeside town is near the start of the Routeburn, Greenstone, Caples, Rees and Dart Valley tracks.
