You won't have to walk far to find a pub (bar) in Dunedin.
Dunedin, (Gaelic for Edinburgh), is primarily a university town. The Scarfies, as the students are fondly called, enjoy a boisterous night life at local hotels. This marvellous mixture of academia and party culture has produced some of New Zealand's finest rock bands, actors, authors, doctors, lawyers and scientists.
