Otaki is situated near the north bank of the Otaki River. Its close proximity to the walkways of the Tararua Range is Otaki's main attraction. At Otaki Forks you’ll find picnic, swimming and camping areas. Hiking tracks range from 30 minute strolls to multi-day expeditions.
