Swimming pool, Riwaka River
For part of its journey, the Riwaka River flows underground through a series of limestone caves. Intrepid divers often explore these caves, entering through an area known as the Riwaka Resurgence. Even in the heat of mid-summer, pools formed by the river are clear and cold – perfect for a refreshing dip.
