Pancake Rocks and Blowholes
Punakaiki (Pancake) Rocks in the Paparoa National Park on the South Island’s West Coast. The limestone rocks have formed what look like stacks of pancakes. At high tide, the sea surges through caverns and creates geyser-like blowholes.
