Putting the story of Burt Munro on the big screen is the culmination of a 30 year dream for New Zealand director Roger Donaldson.
Seen here filming on Oreti Beach, the story of Burt Munro had been an obsession for Donaldson since he first met Burt in Invercargill in 1971.
