Auckland - Rotorua - Napier (4 Days)
The touring route known as the Thermal Explorer Highway passes through Rotorua. Follow the signs for an easy drive to Hawke’s Bay, Taupo, Waikato and Auckland.

Auckland - Christchurch - Invercargill (14 Days)

Rotorua Accommodation
The standard of hotels in the city ranges up to the 4-star deluxe option, or take advantage of the wide selection of lodge accommodation, often in idyllic and secluded settings.

Getting Here

Plane: There are daily direct flights to Rotorua from Auckland and Wellington. Charter services are also readily available.

Bus/Car: You can travel by coach or rental car - the journey takes around three hours from Auckland.
