Membership Terms & Privacy Policy

The Front Row Rugby Club: The Front Row Rugby Club is a Tourism New Zealand ("we", "our", "us") initiative to promote New Zealand and its involvement in the Rugby World Cup. By joining the Front Row Rugby Club, you accept these Membership Terms.

Privacy Policy: We are committed to protecting the privacy of individuals whose information we receive through the Front Row Rugby Club, and we will treat all personal information received by us through this website in accordance with the Privacy Act 1993. We will only use such information for the purpose for which it was collected, including:

• Contacting you in relation to your membership of the Front Row Rugby Club;
• For "Invite a Friend", to create a personalised video, and send an email to the friend containing a link to the video. The details entered into the form (including the friend's name) are sent to a server maintained by Touchpoint (an agency specifically retained for this purpose) which automatically creates the video by inserting the friend's details into pre-recorded footage of Tana Umaga. The friend's details will not be stored or used for any other purpose
• For "Send a photo to a friend", to send an email to the friend containing a link to the personalised photo. The details entered into the form (including the friend's name) are used only in the server environment managed by Tourism New Zealand. The friend's details will not be stored or used for any other purpose.
• Using your details to allow us and our partners and suppliers to supply you with further information concerning products and services related to us, the Front Row Rugby Club, and/or our partners and suppliers by email and/or text message/SMS if you have agreed to this. Information received through "Invite a Friend" and "Send a photo to a friend" will not be used for this purpose - friends will only be contacted in this way if they also become members of the Front Row Rugby Club and agree to receive such communications
• Checking website usage and traffic information through tracking users' behaviour, clickstream data and http data.
• Aspects of your member profile on the Front Row Rugby Club will be viewable by visitors to the site who are not registered members. These include 'Username or nickname', 'country you support', "What I am thinking", and your photo that you have uploaded to create your avatar.
• Aspects of your member profile on the Front Row Rugby Club will be viewable by registered members of the club. These include 'Username or nickname', 'country you support', "What I am thinking", your photo that you have uploaded to create your avatar and your friend list.
• Your email address, phone number, country of residence will not be exposed to other users (registered members or non-registered members) or third parties.
• Registered members can search for other registered members by using email addresses though they will not have access to view a member's email address via their profile page.

You may access, and request correction of, any personal information we hold about you, or request that we delete your details from our database (or have your details deleted from any supplier or partner database), by contacting our Privacy Officer:

Commentary Box: If you use our Commentary Box facility, you must comply with our Commentary Rules.

Emailing Facility: The Front Row Rugby Club provides facilities to email commentary or other items to your friends. You may not use this function or other email forwarding services to send spam or otherwise send content that would violate our Membership Terms & Privacy Policy or Front Row Rugby Club Commentary Rules. We do not permanently store, sell, or rent these email messages or the email addresses.
