Beginning in the wine region of Marlborough you will journey through Christchurch and across Arthur's Pass to the West Coast. Here you will take in the spectacular glaciers before journeying over the Haast Pass to Wanaka and on to Queenstown. Day 1: Begin your journey in Picton or Blenheim at the north of the South Island, and enjoy two nights at Timara Lodge, nestled amongst the vines. Day 2: A day to explore the world class wineries of Blenheim. A complimentary Green Shell Mussel cruise is included today. Day 3: Pick up your rental vehicle and drive south to Christchurch, where you can enjoy two nights at the superb Otahuna Lodge. Day 4: A day to explore Christchurch. You can also enjoy a complimentary tour of Otahuna's botanic gardens with a head gardener. Day 5: Travel across to Hokitika, and spend two nights at Kapitea Ridge, overlooking this wonderful, wild coastline. Day 6: A day to explore Hokitika and the wild West Coast. Day 7: Drive south to the glacier region and enjoy two nights at Westwood Lodge, at the foot of the mountains. Day 8: A day to explore this majestic area. Day 9: Journey over the Haast Pass to Wanaka, to Whare Kea, perched high above the lake. Day 10: A day to explore the pretty lakeside town of Wanaka. A complimentary helicopter flight over this scenic area is included today. Day 11: Cross the Crown Range to Queenstown, and enjoy three nights at the wonderful Evergreen Lodge. Day 12: A day to explore Queenstown and the plethora of activities on offer. A complimentary dinner is included tonight at the Skyline restaurant. Day 13: End your journey in Queenstown.
