Before You Fly

As one of our valued Business customers, you may check in 90 minutes before your departure time at the dedicated Business check-in.  You can then make your way to our exclusive Business or Qantas Club lounge to relax before your flight.

On Board

Dining - Decide what and when you'd like to dine with a menu created in conjunction with leading Australian restauranteur, Neil Perry.  Choose from room service-style breakfast to multi-course restaurant-style dinner, a 'dine-later' option or an 'express meal', all presented on beautiful tableware designed by Marc Newson and created by Noritake and Alessi.  If you are after a snack, Qantas crew can provide you with refreshments.

Entertainment - Sit back and be entertained.  Qantas' state-of the-art entertainment system features:

  • 10.2in touch screen;
  • Noise cancelling headsets;
  • On-demand control, which allows you to start, pause, fast forwarding, or stop any of our 400 Audio Video On Demand (AVOD) program choices whenever you like.  Choices include 60 movies, 200 TV programs (including destination guides), 20 Radio Q channels, 150 CDs, Moving Maps and 10 interactive games;
  • Personal telephone in every seat (charges apply);
  • Reply text messaging in every seat (charges apply);
  • Laptop 110v AC Power outlets, which do not require an adaptor (with the exception of UK plugs).

Amenities - Marc Newson has designed a brand new amenity for the Business traveller that features:

  • collectible amenity kits - grey for men and green for women,
  • a selection of luxury Korner Skincare products,
  • comfort items, including eyemasks, ear plugs, thicker socks, and an environmentally friendly biodegradable toothbrush with Colgate toothpaste.

Upon Arrival 

Upon arrival, you will be among the first to leave the aircraft and your bags among the first to be ready for collection.

 



Conditions of sale

  • Depart from:  Los Angeles or San Francisco to Auckland, New Zealand.
  • Outbound Travel Period: Year-round
  • Minimum Stay: 5 days
  • Maximum Stay: 1 month after departure from fare origin
  • Stopovers: Unlimited free stopovers are permitted in Auckland as per route map if the furthest destinatin is Wellington, Christchurch or Queenstown.
  • Reservations: When booking online, reservations are required at least 72 hours before departure.  Payment is required at time of reservation.  Tickets must be purchased no later than 30 November 2009.
  • Travelling with Children:  No discounts apply to children aged between 2 and 11.  Infants under 2 years and not occupying a seat pay 10% of the adult fare.
  • Cancellation:  Before or after depature, $300 cancellation fee applies plus a local service fee.
  • Visa Requirement:  It is the customer's responsibility to ensure all visa requirements are complied with.

*Prices include fuel surcharges of $160 for the international sectors. US and foreign taxes, fees, including September 11th Security Fee, are an additional $75 to $150 depending upon itinerary.  Other restrictions apply.
