New Zealand Film Commission
The New Zealand Film Commission assists in the making, promotion, distribution and exhibition of films made in New Zealand by New Zealanders on New Zealand subjects. It was established in 1978 and since that time more than 100 features have been made in New Zealand, with more than 60 of these with New Zealand Film Commission finance.

SPADA
The Screen Producers and Directors Association (SPADA) is an incorporated society representing New Zealand's producers, directors and other interested parties. SPADA also publishes the annual Survey of Screen Production in New Zealand, as well as a range of industry guidelines and a bi-monthly newsletter.

Film New Zealand provides an introduction service to filming in New Zealand with everything a film-maker needs to know about locations, facilities, crews, permits, immigration, transport and accommodation. New Zealand's deregulated economy and exchange rate make it a financially attractive proposition for offshore filmmakers.

Creative New Zealand
Creative New Zealand is a New Zealand government department whose role is to promote and support the arts in New Zealand. It does this by funding a wide range of artistic projects, advocating for the arts, and undertaking initiatives, strategies and research projects.
