All Blacks gone - but New Zealand not forgotten
09 Oct 2007
While New Zealand’s national rugby team heads home - the hopes of a nation dashed - New Zealand’s presence in France is still very much being felt.
The All Blacks lost to France in the Rugby World Cup quarter finals in Wales at the weekend plunging New Zealand into a state of mourning.
But despite the loss New Zealand will keep its profile high in Paris for another two weeks with New Zealand’s giant rugby ball staying in prime position alongside France’s great icon the Eiffel Tower.
The giant inflatable ball, emblazoned with the words ''100% PURE NEW ZEALAND'' will remain in the French capital until October 20, promoting New Zealand as a place to visit, work and do business with and also highlighting New Zealand as the next host of the Rugby World Cup in 2011.
