Direct flights now on offer between Canada and New Zealand

Canadian visitors now have the option of flying directly to New Zealand in a new service offered by Air New Zealand.
Beginning this year, Air New Zealand will offer three direct flights between Vancouver and Auckland. The service will run from November to March, allowing visitors to escape the Canadian winter and enjoy New Zealand’s summer.
The flight time is approximately 13 hours and 45 minutes, and uses Air New Zealand’s new Boeing 777-200ER aircraft.
This is the third new long haul destination announced by Air New Zealand in the last two years. The previous two direct flights, San Francisco and Shanghai, have been hugely popular.
Air New Zealand aims to create at least one new long haul international destination per year.
