Queenstown has launched its first international standard five-star hotel spa.
LeSpa at Sofitel offers a uniquely New Zealand sensory experience using local New Zealand products, alongside renowned French brands Carita and Decléor in a setting which combines design elements of Central Otago’s greenery, mountains, riverbeds and the richness of natural stones.
Upon arrival at the spa, each client will be offered tea in the relaxation room while a trained therapist designs a treatment or treatments tailored to their needs.
Some of the unique treatments include the Traditional Maori Ritual, combining ‘Ataahua’, an exfoliation, full body massage and body wrapping with manuka honey and Rotorua volcanic mud.
For those wanting to unwind after a day on the slopes there’s Queenstown’s own SoSki Sports Massage with Beeswax.
Featuring a traditional Hammam (steam and exfoliation room), LeSpa has three personal spa suites and two luxury double spa suites, each with its own steam shower or spa bath. There is also a hand and foot luxury spa, a dedicated manicure and pedicure room, and a relaxation lounge.
