Teen star chooses New Zealand clothing designer

Teen singing sensation Miley Ray Cyrus has appeared on the hit show American Idol wearing clothes from a New Zealand fashion designer.
The young star wore a jacket from Trelise Cooper’s winter collection, when she appeared on the Idol Gives Back charity programme.
Cyrus chose to pair Trelise Cooper's Twinkle Belle Waiter Minute jacket with jeans - a combination the designer said added "a touch of fun glamour" to the singer's outfit.
Cooper said Cyrus was recognised as a style icon in the United States and she was proud the young star had chosen one of her designs to wear. Cyrus is best known for her role as Hannah Montana in the Disney series of the same name.
''I was very excited to hear that Miley wore the Waiter Minute jacket on American Idol. She's a gorgeous girl and the jacket looked perfect on her,'' says Cooper.
The black jacket she chose to wear is tailored and features mirrored embellishments on the lapels.
