Helistar offer scenic helicopter flights over Huka Falls, Lake Taupo, Wairakei geothermal field and the active volcanoes of World Heritage Tongariro National Park. Lord of the Rings flight seeing is also available over Mt Doom, Mordor and other film locations.
Our goal at Helistar is to exceed your expectations. The versatility of helicopters allows them a flexibility that only the imagination can limit. Our pilots are passionate and knowledgeable about the Lake Taupo region. There is no age restriction on our flights and everyone from young to old will love the experience. Flight times vary from 10 minutes to 2 hours and start from $99.00.
