Kawana Mill
Matahiwi, Wanganui River Road, Wanganui

A rebuilt water-power mill, with original waterwheel and grinding stones. First built with the help of Governor Grey to grind the wheat grown by local Maori farmers. The interior of the mill can be entered at all times.
