Alpine Guides (Aoraki) Ltd is New Zealand’s longest established mountain guiding company (since 1966). Based year-round in Aoraki/Mount Cook National Park, Alpine Guides offers unparalleled access into this spectacular area.

During the summer months (November to April) we offer guided ascents and mountaineering courses, for the beginner to the advanced alpinist.

Our winter operations (July to October) include ice climbing courses, heliskiing, and ski touring. We have access to the most incredible terrain amongst the highest mountains in New Zealand.

All of our guides are professionals, trained through the IFMGA/NZMGA system.
