Since its establishment in 1995, the New Zealand School of Food and Wine has become a leader of culinary education in New Zealand. Founded by Celia Hay, the New Zealand School of Food and Wine (NZSFW) offers a range of full-time courses endorsed by the New Zealand Qualifications Authority (NZQA) and delivered by a team of skilled and qualified professionals. The school also runs a number of part-time cooking classes and has a part-time wine programme.
New Zealand School of Food and Wine welcomes international students. Student loans and allowances are available to Australian residents for all full time courses. Certificates in Cookery, Professional Wine Knowledge (sommelier) and Cookery & Hospitality courses are all fulltime.
