Wairata Station Farmstay
Enjoy great country hospitality and home baked meals. Be part of the farm activities, take a walk, or relax in the tranquil setting of back country New Zealand. Experience the thrill of white water kayaking down the Waioeka River. Bob is a professional guide and can arrange trips from 1- 2 hours on the Waioeka River. Our tours are based at the Wairata Station Farmstay but are open both to guests and visitors.

Our open kayaks are a heap of fun or perhaps you'd just like to jump on a tube and float down the river and enjoy the beautiful scenery. There is lots of fun to be had for both novices and adrenalin junkies alike. Kayaking $25.00 -$50.00 per person, Tubing $10.00.
