Archives New Zealand
Archives New Zealand is responsible for keeping important government records safely and making them available for research. We also hold several important national documents including the Treaty of Waitangi and the Women's Suffrage Petition, which are on show in the Constitution Room. We have a changing exhibition programme, and offer tours of the collection. Exhibitions are open Monday to Friday from 9.00am to 5.00pm and Saturday 9.00am to 1.00pm. The Reading Room is open for research from 9.00am to 5.00pm Monday to Friday.
