Kuri Charters
Experience the fishing on Kuri - line fishing snapper, kingfish, tarakihi, hapuku etc. Bait & tackle supplied. Minimum of 6 anglers, or by arrangement. Harbour Tour - approximately 2 hour cruise with commentary and tea or coffee supplied.
Whangaroa is one of the finest natural harbours in New Zealand steeped in history. The spectacular hills, cliffs, steep topography and weird shapes are the remains of an andesite volcano. Pohutukawa trees on the shorelines with native ferns and regenerating bush behind with the rock formations towering above. Scene of the infamous destruction of the "Boyd" in 1809.
