Aorangi Experiences Ltd
Aorangi Experiences Ltd, operate Hikoi ki Paerau. This is a cultural hike.

All our guides can trace their whakapapa – family lineage – back to the great Maori explorer, Tamatea Pokai Whenua. Their guardianship of the land stretches back, for hundreds of years.

Our guides will share with you the history of their people, and their knowledge of flora and fauna and the area’s geology. Your experience will be personal and rewarding, with a small group and guides.

There is no public right of access to Aorangi, meaning that you are well away from the crowds and consequent distractions.

Your day includes a full day hike, lunch, morning and afternoon tea. Helicopter add-ons are available.
