Dargaville Museum
This amazing museum is an essential place to visit. It has unique displays of all things nautical, Maori artefacts and pioneer exhibits. View the impressive new Kauri Gumdiggers Exhibition Hall, with an operational kauri gum chip washing plant.
The shop has a great variety of quality gifts and souvenirs. Enjoy bush walks, barbecues, picnic area, campervan facilities and clean rest rooms. Genealogy department.
Incorporated in the museum complex is the Lighthouse Function Centre - an excellent venue to hire for all occasions. Lunches, morning and afternoon teas for tour groups can be provided. Booking are essential. Open every day (except Christmas day) 9am to 4pm.
Adults $7.00 Schoolchildren$2.00.
