Each trip is individually designed to meet your interests. It could include an outdoor activity, or learning about Maori culture by meeting artists, visiting Maori historical sites etc. Our trips are designed to showcase our stunning environment and the beauty of Maori culture. We can access skilled Maori artists, greenstone carvers, musicians, moko (tattoo) artists, and you can visit them in their homes and studios.

We have excellent knowledge of traditional protocols, Maori art and design (traditional and contemporary), history and Maori language, legends relating to the places, plants and birdlife that we see. We can provide you with a real taste of Maori culture.
