The Legendary Black Water Rafting Co.
Adventure and adrenalin runs through the Kiwi blood. So perhaps it’s not surprising we were first in the world to invent ‘black water rafting’.

Black Labyrinth

Weave, jump and float your way through the glowworm-studded underworld of Ruakuri Cave. Explore an amazing labyrinth of rock and inky darkness…..finally emerging into lush native forest (allow 3 hours).

Black Abyss

In this ultimate adrenalin rush, you’ll take a breathtaking 35 metre abseil, zip into a water-filled abyss, glide through caverns of glowworms, take a flying fox through the dark, cave slide down a weir and jump off waterfalls (allow 5 hours).

Both trips include soup and bagels and free entry to the Museum of Caves.
