We offer guided kayaking to the famous Maori Rock Carvings. The trip takes a half day and is suitable for everyone.
Paddling with the coast on our right we pass 4 headlands, the last of which leaves us with 400m to go before sighting the 10m high carvings. We go to a nearby rock ledge for snacks. If you wish, this is also the time for a swim in the crystal clear water of the lake. On our return we pass steep cliffs and mini inlets that can only harbour a kayak.
Alternatively, contact us for information on combined escapes, like our rock carving trip or other kayaking trips combined with a boat cruises, walks or helicopter flights. All escapes are professionally guided in small groups with qualified outdoor instructors.
