Waiwhenua Farm and Homestay
Experience Rainbow trout fishing in our exclusive section of the well known Tutaekuri River. The season extends from October to May.

The river runs the boundary of Waiwhenua Farm for several kilometres or we can arrange for you to be dropped off and picked up at different points on the river. Robbie our young fishing guide is also available by arrangement. Robbie has good local knowledge, ties his own flies and will be able to take you to all the great fishing runs and holes on the river. We also have other excellent trout fishing rivers and lakes within 30 minutes drive of our home. Rental equipment is available.

We can cook your catch at the homestead but we usually prefer to catch and release all fish for others to enjoy.
