Kaikohe Fire Museum is a family museum which has evolved from the collecting of model fire engines over a number of years. As the collection grew too large for the house a separate building was made to house the collection. The present day collection includes fire uniforms and various fire fighting memorabilia. There is also information on the history of the Kaikohe Volunteer Fire Brigade.
The Kaikohe Fire Museum is a fun, family attraction in Northland. For more information about the collection or our opening hours please contact us.
