The Kauri Museum
The Kauri Museum is NZ's best kept secret that has an element of surprise, located approximately 90 mins drive north of Auckland. Offering something to amaze all, with stunning collections and interactive, hands-on displays.

The Kauri Museum tells the story of the mighty kauri tree, its fascinating gum and pioneering past. The Kauri tree is the focal point and theme of this museum, showing the different stages of how this giant wonder fueled industries that sustained communities of the early settlers.

Northland's largest undercover attraction with over 4000sq metres of undercover exhibits. Winner of Grand Pacific Tours "Favourite Attraction North Island" 07/08 and Australian Pacific Tours "New Zealand Operator of the Year for 2008".
