Twilight Tales is a story stroll in and around the Whitestone Buildings are in the Oamaru Historic Precinct. The buildings are mostly constructed from local limestone, and date from the mid 19th century. The term "twilight” refers to both the time of day - and the strange and sometimes scary stories of Victorian Oamaru. The sotires are authentic, and interesting. The tour guide is a master storyteller and the current President of the New Zealand Guild of storytellers.
Bookings are essential - story@ihug.co.nz. The cost is $20.00 per adult, and the tour and stories takes approx 90 minutes. Warm clothing is needed. Should the weather be unsuitable, access to some buildings has been organised.
