The Purple Patch Lavender Farm was born in October 2001 with the planting of 8000 lavender plants - Grosso, Impress Purple and Pacific Blue. The lavender begins showing colour about November but harvest doesn't take place until the flowers are fully open, January or February depending on the weather.
If the field of purple has been harvested there are display gardens to stroll in and view dozens of different lavenders, have a game of checkers on our giant board or just relax surrounded by awesome scenery.
Browse in our on-farm lavender gift shop and purchase a reminder of your visit or a gift for a friend back home.
