Mountain Valley Adventure Lodge
Set right on the banks of the Mohaka river, we are proud to offer rafting experiences from gentle 1 to 4 hour Grade 2 scenic trips, through all day Grade 3-4 white-water adventures, to multi day camping expeditions. The Mohaka is one of only two officially listed 'wild and scenic' rivers on New Zealand's north island. We particularly recommended our trips for those with a hunger for getting away from the masses and into some fabulous Kiwi wilderness scenery. All of our trips are accompanied by passionate local qualified guides who delight in relating the legends and history of the region, its flora and fauna. All equipment and shuttle transport is provided, with prices starting at $75.
